How to maintenance hd and transparent lace

Open tab

HD lace and transparent lace require similar maintenance and care. To keep these types of lace looking their best, you should:

Gently clean the lace using a soft, damp cloth and a mild soap or lace cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials, as they can damage the delicate lace.

Dry the lace thoroughly, using a hairdryer on the cool setting or allowing it to air dry. Do not apply heat directly to the lace, as this can cause it to shrink or become damaged.

Can I Color My Bundles?

Open tab

It is always best to seek the advice of a professional before attempting any chemical treatments on your hair extensions. These processes can be damaging to the hair, and it is important to take care to avoid damaging the cuticle, which can lead to issues such as fraying, breakage, dryness, and tangling. While our virgin hair extensions are able to withstand coloring processes, it is important to be cautious and to follow proper procedures to avoid damaging the hair. Please note that once the hair has been chemically altered, any damage cannot be undone, and we cannot be held responsible for any damages that may occur.

Coloring hair can increase the risk of damaging it, as hair can react differently to different products. It is always a good idea to do a strand test before attempting to color your hair extensions. Processing hair can cause it to become dry, brittle, and prone to tangling and matting. Our colored hair extensions are made using virgin hair, and we do not recommend further processing them. Trying to lighten or add additional color to already-colored hair can lead to undesirable results and is not recommended. We also do not recommend using blonding products such as purple shampoo on colored hair extensions.

How Should I Care For My Hair?

Open tab

"Every person's hair, including virgin hair extensions, reacts differently to different products and hair care regimens. It is important to avoid using products with ingredients that can strip the hair of moisture, such as parabens, sulfates, and silicone, as these can be drying to the hair. It is also generally not necessary to use heavy oils on the hair, as these can weigh down the hair pattern. As a general rule, we recommend co-washing your hair extensions weekly and shampooing them every other week to remove excess product build-up. Deep conditioning can be done as needed, depending on the specific needs of your hair."

What is the difference between a frontal and a closure. And which one do I need?

Open tab

A frontal and a closure are both types of hairpieces that are used to cover the hairline in a wig or hair extension installation.

A frontal is a hairpiece that covers the entire hairline from ear to ear, and it is typically made with a lace base. Frontals are versatile and can be parted and styled in a variety of ways, but they do require regular maintenance and may be more fragile than other types of hairpieces.

A closure, on the other hand, is a smaller hairpiece that sits at the crown of the head and covers a smaller area. Closures are typically made with a smaller lace piece and have a pre-determined part that cannot be changed.

When deciding which type of hairpiece to use, it's important to consider your personal preferences and needs. If you want a hairpiece that offers more versatility in terms of styling and part options, a frontal may be the best choice for you. If you prefer a more low-maintenance option, a closure may be a better choice. It's also a good idea to consult with a professional stylist or wig maker to determine the best option for your specific needs and desired look.

Is Transparent lace good quality

Open tab

Transparent lace is a high-quality lace material that is often used in the construction of wigs and hairpieces. It is a fine, delicate lace that is slightly more opaque than HD lace, allowing for a more visible hairline when the wig is worn. Transparent lace is also very durable and can withstand regular use, making it a good choice for wigs and hairpieces that will be worn frequently. Overall, transparent lace is a high-quality material that can provide a natural-looking hairline and long-lasting durability in a wig or hairpiece.

Once the lace is completely dry, you can use a wig brush or comb to gently style the hair. Avoid using too much heat or tension when brushing or combing, as this can cause the lace to stretch or tear.

If the lace becomes wrinkled or creased, you can use a steamer or iron set on the lowest heat setting to gently smooth it out. Be sure to test a small, inconspicuous area of the lace before applying heat to the entire surface.

By following these steps, you can keep your HD lace or transparent lace looking clean and fresh, and ensure that your wig or hairpiece maintains its natural-looking appearance.

What Color are the Bundles?

Open tab

Unless specified by a color number ie) #613 #4/27, the bundles will come a natural black color, #1B

#1B is a natural hair color that is often referred to as "off black" or "darkest brown." It is a very dark shade of brown that is similar to black, but with a slightly warmer, more muted tone. It is often used as a base color for other shades, as it provides a natural-looking foundation that can be easily blended with other colors.

#1B hair extensions are unprocessed, meaning that they have not been chemically treated or altered in any way. They are typically made from virgin hair, which has never been dyed, permed, or chemically treated in any way. This makes them a popular choice for people who want natural-looking hair extensions that are healthy, soft, and easy to style.

How Do I CareFor Curly Bundles

Open tab

Brush gently: Before washing your hair extensions, gently brush them out to remove any tangles or knots. Use a wide-tooth comb or a detangling brush to avoid damaging the hair.

Use a sulfate-free shampoo: Use a sulfate-free shampoo to clean your hair extensions, as sulfates can strip away the natural oils from the hair and cause dryness and tangling.

Condition regularly: Regular conditioning is important to keep your hair extensions moisturized and healthy. Look for a conditioner that is designed for curly hair and use it after shampooing.

Use a hair mask: To keep your hair extensions healthy and hydrated, use a hair mask once or twice a week. Hair masks are designed to deeply penetrate the hair and provide extra moisture.

Air dry: Avoid using a hair dryer on high heat to dry your hair extensions, as this can cause heat damage. Instead, allow your hair extensions to air dry, or use a diffuser on low heat if necessary.

Store properly: When not in use, store your hair extensions properly to prevent tangling. Braid the hair or wrap it in a loose bun to prevent tangling.

Avoid excessive heat: Avoid excessive heat styling, such as flat ironing or curling, as this can cause damage to your hair extensions. If you do style your hair extensions, use a heat protectant spray and keep the heat low.

Is #613 Blonde the Best Option For Coloring?

Open tab

It's important to note that 613 bundles refer to hair extensions that are made with hair that has been bleached to a light blonde color, also known as "platinum blonde" or "613" hair. Using 613 hair bundles as a base for coloring may be a good option for some people because the hair has already been lightened to a very pale color, which makes it easier to achieve vibrant and true-to-color results when using hair dyes.

However, it's worth noting that bleaching hair to a very light color can be damaging, and it's important to take proper care of your hair to maintain its health. Additionally, using 613 hair bundles as a base for coloring may not be the best option for everyone, as it may not match their natural hair color or desired look. It's always a good idea to consult with a professional stylist or colorist to determine the best option for achieving your desired hair coloring results.

How do I Detangle My Hair Safely?

Open tab

To detangle your bundle, it's best to divide your hair into small sections to make it easier to manage. You can start by separating your weave into four sections and detangling them from the bottom up to the forehead. To make the process easier, mist the sections with water and a conditioner, then use a wide tooth comb to brush the hair from the ends to the roots. If you come across any knots, use your fingers to gently remove them. Once you've detangled the entire weave, use a paddle brush to straighten out the sections. Allow the hair to rest for a bit before styling again, and remember to use the appropriate products to minimize tangling.

What are some tips to avoid tangling?

Open tab

To prevent tangles with your bundles, here are some tips to consider:

Keep your hair moisturized, but avoid overloading it with product as this can cause damage and build-up.

Use a gentle shampoo and be gentle when washing your hair. Avoid rubbing the bundle or swirling your head in the water.

Take care when detangling your hair, and try co-washing at least twice a week with a moisturizing conditioner. Leave the conditioner in for at least 10 minutes, and never try to detangle your hair when it is dry.

If you're experiencing tangles despite taking these precautions, the weather might be a factor. In humid environments, consider using an anti-frizz serum and conditioner to keep your hair moisturized and tangle-free.

By following these tips and taking good care of your extensions, you can enjoy a hassle-free hair experience.

Are there any products I should use to Maintain my Hair?

Open tab

To maintain the quality of your hair extensions, it is important to use a shampoo that is free of oil and alcohol. A conditioner without protein and a moisturizing oil should also be applied to the ends of the hair to prevent it from becoming dry. If you frequently style your hair with heated tools, we suggest using a heat protectant that does not contain oil to prevent damage to the extensions.

What are some tips for maintaining your lace closure to extend its longevity?

Open tab

A well-maintained lace closure can elevate your hairstyle and boost your confidence for weeks. Here are some key tips to extend its longevity and keep it looking its best:

Gentle Handling:

  • Brushing with Care: Start at the ends and work your way up gently with a wide-tooth comb or detangling brush. Avoid excessive pulling, especially near the roots.
  • Minimize Manipulation: Avoid constant touching, braiding, or twisting the closure, as this can cause loosening and shedding.
  • Protect While Sleeping: Wear a satin or silk scarf or bonnet to prevent friction and tangles.

Washing and Conditioning:

  • Regular Cleansing: Wash the closure every 1-2 weeks with lukewarm water and gentle shampoo and conditioner designed for extensions.
  • Soak & Deep Condition: Deep condition once a month with a moisturizing product to keep the hair soft and manageable.
  • Air Dry: Never use heat to dry your closure. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water and lay it flat on a towel to air dry completely.

Styling and Products:

  • Heat Wisely: Minimize heat styling and use low temperatures with a heat protectant spray. Opt for heatless styles like rollers or braids whenever possible.
  • Product Choices: Avoid heavy oils and alcohol-based products that can dry out the lace and hair. Use lightweight styling products specifically for extensions.
  • Bleaching & Coloring: Consult a professional stylist, as chemical treatments can damage the lace and hair.

General Maintenance:

  • Store Carefully: When not in use, store the closure on a mannequin head or hanging upright in a cool, dry place to prevent matting and tangles.
  • Bleaching the Knots: For a more natural look, bleach the knots professionally to blend them with your scalp tone.
  • Touch-Ups: Address any shedding or thinning promptly with professional help.

Bonus Tips:

  • Use a lace tint spray to match your scalp tone for a seamless blend.
  • Apply a light amount of setting spray to the lace edges to help them lay flat.
  • Cleanse your scalp regularly to prevent product buildup, which can affect the closure's hold.

Remember: Consistency is key! By following these tips and treating your lace closure with care, you can enjoy its beauty and versatility for a longer period. If you have any concerns or require specific advice, consult a professional hairstylist specializing in extensions.

How Do I Maintain My Curly/Deep Wave Lace Wig?

Open tab

Tresses that bounce and flow, defined curls that turn heads – that's the magic of a curly/deep wave lace wig. But maintaining that salon-fresh look requires more than just throwing it on and going. Fear not, curly-haired queens! This guide equips you with the knowledge and routine to keep your wig flourishing, from daily detangling to deep conditioning rituals.

Daily Detangling Symphony:

  • Start damp: After finger-detangling your natural hair, lightly mist your wig with water or a detangling spray specifically formulated for curly hair.
  • Wide-tooth wonder: Gently work through tangles with a wide-tooth comb, starting from the ends and working your way up to avoid breakage.
  • Section by section: Divide your wig into smaller sections for easier detangling and to prevent pulling.
  • Finger magic: Once the comb glides through smoothly, use your fingers to gently separate any remaining knots.

Styling & Refreshing:

  • Reactivate the curls: If your curls start to lose definition, use a light mist of water or a curl refresher spray to revive them. Scrunch gently upwards to encourage bounce.
  • Finger coiling: For tighter definition, finger-coil small sections of your wig, starting from the roots and twisting upwards. Let them air-dry or diffuse on low heat for added volume.
  • Shine like a diamond: Apply a small amount of lightweight oil or serum to the mid-lengths and ends to combat frizz and add shine. Avoid the roots to prevent greasiness.
  • Silk or satin love: When sleeping, wear a satin or silk scarf or cap to minimize friction and tangles.

Weekly Deep Conditioning:

  • Nourishment is key: Once a week, treat your wig to a deep conditioning treatment specifically formulated for curly hair. Follow the product instructions for best results.
  • Steam it up: For deeper penetration, consider using a hooded dryer or steamer (on low heat) during the deep conditioning process.
  • Rinse thoroughly: Rinse out the conditioner completely with cool water to avoid product buildup.

Monthly Maintenance Melodies:

  • Wig cap cleaning: If you use a wig cap, wash it regularly with mild detergent and air-dry completely before your next wig wear.
  • Brush it out: Once a month, use a soft wig brush to remove any loose hair or buildup that the wide-tooth comb might miss. Be gentle and brush in the direction of the curls.
  • Apple cider vinegar rinse: Dilute apple cider vinegar in water and do a final rinse after deep conditioning to remove product buildup and add shine.

Remember:

  • Heat styling: Minimize heat styling and always use heat protectant spray beforehand. Diffuse on low heat if necessary.
  • Avoid harsh products: Use shampoos, conditioners, and styling products specifically formulated for curly hair and wigs. Skip harsh chemicals that can dry out your wig.
  • Gentle handling: Avoid pulling, tugging, or rubbing your wig excessively. Be mindful when detangling and styling.
  • Professional help: If your wig needs major repairs or color services, consult a professional hairstylist specializing in wigs.

Embrace the Curl Power:

By following these tips and tailoring them to your specific wig texture and needs, you can maintain your curly/deep wave lace wig's beauty and bounce for months to come. Remember, healthy curls equal happy curls, so pamper your wig and let its confidence-boosting waves shine!
